Brazil’s new sanitation law and the opportunities for European companies

The Brazilian Congress has recently approved the new sanitation law with an updated regulatory framework that can unlock the full potential of the water and wastewater sector in the country, tapping into the pent up demand for sanitation services.

Lide DE and Lide UK collaboration on this Lide Live Europe brings together experts in the sector to debate about the changes and how it could represent opportunities for European companies.

Not only a business opportunity but also a humanitarian cause.

The new law is expected to spur a pipeline of projects and investments worth almost BRL1 trillion, with universalization goals to bring proper infrastructure to 99% of the population by 2033.
Today, 100+ million people don’t have access to proper wastewater infrastructure collection and treatment, and 30+ million people don’t have access to properly clean water in Brazil.
Join our Lide Live Europe to find out more about the sector in Brazil and what opportunities are uncovered for European companies.
